Is Axon Wallet really non-custodial?

Yes - your private keys are generated and encrypted on your device, and never leave it. Axon Labs cannot move your funds, freeze your account, or recover your seed phrase. You are the sole custodian.

Which chains does Axon support today?

At launch, Axon supports Ethereum, Solana, Bitcoin, Tron, Sui, Base, Arbitrum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, and Aptos. New chains roll out roughly every quarter based on community votes.

How does the AI execute trades?

Axon uses an on-device intent parser plus an off-device routing layer to find optimal paths across DEX aggregators (Jupiter, 1inch, Uniswap routers). It assembles the transaction locally and asks you to sign - Axon never holds funds in transit.

Does the AI have access to my private keys?

No. Keys live in your secure on-device enclave. The AI only sees the unsigned transactions it builds for you, and signing always requires your explicit approval (with biometrics on mobile).

Is there a browser extension?

Yes - Axon ships as a Chrome extension at launch. The same encrypted vault syncs between mobile and desktop via end-to-end encryption.

How does Axon make money if it's free?

Axon takes a small, transparent fee on optional premium routing and on perp/futures trades. Standard sends, swaps via public routes, and the AI assistant are free forever.

What's the difference between Axon and a regular wallet + ChatGPT?
